These are my sweet neighbors. We decided to take pictures right here in the neighborhood. The view is at the top of the neighborhood overlooking the Columbia river. I loved their 2 year old and the fun he had with the flowers.

Happy Halloween!!

I'm going to start showing a little bit of crafty things on this blog too. Why not. That is definitely one of my passions too. So here is the invite to our Halloween party this weekend, minus anything too personal like address and phone numbers. We are looking forward to it. My friend, Tracey, thought of it and asked if she could throw a party at my house. Well, but of course! If you know the Barnes you know we like to get people together. Tracey is doing all the games. I'll let you know what we end up doing.

new little stud

This new little guy was the best baby I have ever taken pictures of! He is half chinese which gives him the most beautiful skin and eyes. He has his Dad's eyes and his mommas great lips. He is sure to be a stud! I'm so glad I got to take pictures of him. It was a very fun photo shoot. I love when moms are so fun and laid back. I was very impressed with this first-time mom. She just had fun with the shoot and I think babies can tell if there is stress in the room. No stress here = happy pictures!







He was born in the year of the tiger. What a fun shot.

Printing ideas

I thought I would show off the canvas cluster I had printed last month. I had simply canvas do the canvas pieces above the stairs. The big picture is 32X20, (2) 16X20, (3) 10X10's. They did a fabulous job printing them and mounting them on the really thick frame. I had chocolate brown printed around the sides on each print.

I loved the pictures we had taken with Kate and had a hard time choosing, and since I wanted my office to be decorated with bright vibrant colors I decided to go with this cluster of 9 8X8's. I had it printed with prodigital photos who I love! They have great papers and products. I had them printed on gator board, which is a black foam core. I stuck them on the wall with 3M picture stickers. Voila!!

Running from the waves, finding seashells, the wind blowing our hair, bumper cars... yes, this was one great day as a family!

Washington Photo shoots

Well I've started taking pictures again. I took quite the break, but am ready to start taking again. I have a few photo shoots next week and will be posting new pictures (finally!!) on the blog. Thanks for continuing to follow me and hope I will have some fun new photos to post soon.

Me and my kids

Thank you to Peekaboo Photography for taking these images of my kiddos. I believe whole heartedly that other people can take better pictures of kids than their own mother! At least that is what I have found with my experiences. Kate is my most favorite photographer out there. I was so excited to have her take pictures of my little ones. I have a lot more, so many cute ones, posted on my private blog, but had to share a few on the photo blog.
